Hurricane Irma: Together WE Stand As ONE
Hurricane Irma is the second most powerful storm ever measured in the Atlantic Ocean and has caused catastrophic damage in the Caribbean and the United States. This storm generated the largest mass evacuation in US history. It made landfall as a Category 4 storm in Florida on Saturday, September 9, 2017. Life-threatening winds and heavy rainfall battered the state, causing extensive destruction to the islands and coastal cities, and extraordinary flooding in the Jacksonville area. Millions of people are still without power across the state.
Embrace HOPE Foundation's Hurricane Irma Relief Fund will help disaster survivors recover. Emergency supplies, such as water, food, fuel, clothing and cleaning supplies will be distributed to help residents recover and rebuild. Donations to this fund will exclusively support Hurricane Irma victims in the US.
