Keeping “Gwyn’s” Mission Alive

Embrace HOPE Foundation annual fundraiser is celebrated the Legacy & birthday of State Florida House of Representative Gwyndolen “Gwyn” Clarke-Reed (Breast Cancer Survivor). Gwyn was elected to the Florida House of Representatives, District 92, in 2008 and re-elected in 2010 and 2012.  Gwyn was the Democratic Ranking Member of the K-20 Competitiveness Subcommittee in the 2009-2010 and 2011-2012 sessions.  She also served on the House Redistricting Subcommittee in the 2011-2012 session. In the 2013-2014 session, Gwyn was appointed the Democratic Ranking Member of the K-12 Subcommittee and to the Veterans and Military Affairs Subcommittee. Gwyn served 12 years on the Deerfield Beach City Commission, and served as the Vice-Mayor during her first year.
